It’s Almost Christmas

In case anyone wants to know, I want an Amazon Kindle for Christmas. I’m a reader and a bit of a nerd, so I dream of  finding a Kindle under the tree. What makes the Kindle such a great gift?

The Kindle books can even be read on iPhones, iTouches, and PCs. I can read Kindle books on my netbook, but it doesn’t have the same level of connectivity.
• Cost effectiveness: The Kindle may save money over the long run. Kindle editions are cheaper than hardbacks and even some paperbacks. The Kindle wireless service is one hundred percent free in the USA so consumers will never be billed for their usage.
• Variety of reading materials: You can download popular newspapers, international newspapers, best selling books, popular magazines, free book samples, and even blogs. You can search Wikipedia and find information on just about any topic.
• Instant delivery: Sometimes I wait months to get a new book the library or wait for it to come out in paperback. If I read a review and It will store permanently so I can reread them later.
• Adjustable print size: It’s been a while since I have been able to read books with really small prints. I don’t need large print but I hate tiny print. It’s nice to know that I will be able to increase the font size, if I need to do so. I can also lend my kindle to older relatives who do need large print. No need to buy two different versions of the same book.
